The Musée d'Art Moderne de Paris - MAM is a museum of modern and contemporary art located in Paris, in the eastern wing of the Palais de Tokyo, in the 16th arrondissement. The museum is dedicated to modern and contemporary art and has inside the collections of many of the most important artistic currents of the twentieth century. The works on display are about 8000, including 22 paintings by Matisse, enclosed in a room entirely dedicated to the same painter in which there are also graphic works, illustrated books and a sculpture; then there are authors such as Picasso, Modigliani , Chagall, de Chirico and Giacometti, but also more strictly contemporary artists, such as Yves Klein. In addition to the permanent collection, the Museum of Modern Art offers visitors temporary exhibitions that vary every six weeks .
