The museum has been opened in October 1994 after has been inaugurated in June of the same year.
It exhibits eighteenth-century ceramics: porcelains and majolicas collected in the years '30 and '40 by the manufacturer Giuseppe Gianetti from Saronno, a great collector.
It is held in seven rooms in a two floors mansion where there are also some ancient furniture, some interesting paintings, chandeliers from Murano and a wonderful banister made in beaten iron.
The museum keeps a very familiar aspect because the mansion that hosts it has been kept as his original structure.
