The allegorical figure of Justice is represented in the center of the vault with a sword, emblem of his power, and scales, a symbol of his impartiality. In the center is Jupiter sitting on a throne of clouds with the scepter and the eagle, which holds a lightning bolt with its beak. The latter is caught in the act of directing Justice to the other divinities, including Juno, with the peacock in the foreground. It is therefore Jupiter who moves justice, a warning of the control exercised by the divinity over human facts.

The fresco occupies the east wall of the Chapel Gallery and is associated with the theme of Hercules defeating Cerberus, represented on the opposite wall. Both events were well known and could count on a solid visual tradition of reference. According to Greek mythology Prometheus was punished by Zeus for stealing fire from the gods to deliver it to men. In the scene of the Torment Prometheus is represented tied to the ground with chains, while a bird of prey tears his liver.

Bacchus and the other deities frescoed in the Gallery of Mirrors symbolize the cause of the ruin of the great empires of the past: they are the representatives of the religion of the ancients who never knew the Christian faith. Unlike the Durazzo family, patrons of this cycle of frescoes, they identify themselves as defenders of Christian virtues. The fresco "The Triumph of Bacchus" occupies the eastern dome above the entrance. The scene is conceived in an imaginary space above the clouds, in a semicircular terrace. In the center is Bacchus on a golden chariot pulled by two leopards, he is crowned by a branch of ivy and has the classical composure of an ancient statue, naked and only partially covered by a leopard skin. Grab a rod with ivy twisted around it, a symbol of fertility. A maenad dances in front of him, shaking his eardrum; in the foreground a young man and a satiress sleep drunk on the clouds and Arianna is naked and at the center of the scene. The episode depicted seems similar to that of the meeting between Bacchus and Ariadne, just before the triumph.

The winged figure is painted in the center of the vault against the clear sky and represents one of the most original inventions of the Genoese painter. Fame, Jupiter's messenger, is recognizable by the inevitable attribute: the long blaring trumpet. It is almost certain that the fame to be celebrated was that of the Balbi family, owner of the house in the seventeenth century. The three astral signs on the left could allude to one or more family members. There is also a fish quite similar to the one present in the Balbi coat of arms. Moreover, the Fame "dei Balbi" seems to be represented only in its positive meaning, without the second trumpet, alluding to slander.
