Hidetoshi Nagasawa 長澤英俊 (1940-2018) was a Japanese artist who trained in architecture in Tokyo, whose research is deeply marked by the theme of travel and the experience of space. After a long journey through Asia, he settled in Italy in 1967, coming into contact with the artistic environment of Milan. His work developed through sculptures and site-specific installations in dialogue with architecture and landscape. He participated in numerous editions of the Venice Biennale and Documenta IX (1992). He was among the founders of the Casa degli Artisti in Milan.
