Organized with the aim of contributing to the enhancement through images of the Ponte degli Alpini at the end of the long restoration work, the photographic exhibition is part of the rich calendar of events designed by the municipal administration of Bassano del Grappa to promote the return to the city of its National Monument. On display 150 photographs, including recent and historical, selected following the public tender open to all photographers and / or owners of historical images, regardless of age and nationality.

The initiative invites us to tell, through images, the relationship between Bassano, the Brenta and the famous Bridge, with the ambition of giving life to a succession of visions, memories and suggestions, making public the love and the indissoluble relationship that it exists between the city and its river. The city, its landscape and its National Monument are crossed by multiple activities and characterized by rhythms and relationships; they can be crossed hastily and absently, or they can be admired, experienced, loved. With these images, Bassano wants to offer those who look at them with curiosity the possibility of being continuously rediscovered in every place, thus stimulating the search for new and exciting points of view.
