The show

Castello di Rivoli dedicates an important exhibition to Giulio Paolini (Genoa, 1940) on the occasion of his 80th anniversary. The exhibition of one of the protagonists of Arte Povera , which emerged in the 1960s , seals the close relationship of Castello di Rivoli with the artist already present as one of the protagonists of the inaugural Ouverture exhibition in December 1984 and represented in the Collections of Museum with some of his most iconic works that have contributed to writing the history of contemporary art.

The exhibition develops in a dialogical relationship with the artist who proposes in the spaces of the stately rooms of the Juvarra residence an unprecedented setting that includes numerous new works of great vitality. From the very beginning, Paolini's research has aimed at the structure of the gaze and vision and its relationship with the foundations of artistic creation. The works will revolve around the themes of geometric design, vertigo and the concept of an endless end.
