The show

The Castello di Rivoli Museum of Contemporary Art with the CRC Foundation present the William Kentridge exhibition in Alba at the Church of San Giuseppe. Breathe, confirming the collaboration project aimed at promoting knowledge of the artistic works presented by the Museum in the Cuneo area and thus offering the public the opportunity to admire works such as Breathe (Breathe, 2008) and Shadow Procession (The procession of shadows, 2008 ) by William Kentridge.

In a contemporaneity in which the instinct to breathe is physiologically yearned for by patients suffering from a global virus, systematically denied to several minorities still suffocated by segregation and abuse and ecologically compromised by asphyxiating deforesting policies, William Kentridge. Breathing invites us to stop holding our breath. The exhibition is a swirling synaesthetic dance in which light and sound, shadow and silence interpenetrate. The video works aggregate and disintegrate in molecular structures, in an impulse to destroy themselves and then re-materialize.
