The Museo del Novecento is located in Florence in the historic city center.

The Museo del Novecento is located inside the Spedale delle Leopoldine complex , near the Church of Santa Maria Novella .

The Museum is dedicated to the art of the twentieth century and includes an important collection of civic collections. Certainly of great value are the works of Alberto Della Ragione's collection donated to the city of Florence in 1966. Works by artists such as Filippo De Pisis, Gino Severini, Giorgio Morandi, Mario Mafai, Renato Guttuso, Felice Casorati are part of Della Ragione's donation. , Giorgio De Chirico and many others.

Another important donation is due to Ottone Rosai in 1963. Ottone Rosai was an artist famous for his views of Florence, Rome and realist and expressionist portraiture. His collection is mostly composed of portraits from the Tondini and Amici series made in the 1940s and 1950s.
