The Fondazione Stelline an historic institution in Milan established in 1986 by the Lombardy Region and the City of Milan. Situated in Corso Magenta, opposite the Church of Santa Maria delle Grazie which houses Leonardo da Vinci’s Last Supper, Palazzo delle Stelline is one of the most well-established buildings in the urban fabric of Milan for its historical and architectural value.
For over thirty years the Foundation has acted as a cultural hub both on a national and international level.
Proposals and projects for research and exploration of artistic expressions increasingly oriented towards international partnerships, the fruit of intense planning, illustrate the cultural mission of Fondazione Stelline, which responds to an open and fluid vision of contemporary life. Major art exhibitions of high quality and impact have been devoted in recent years to major artists of the 20th, to international contemporary artists with special focus on fine photography and exhibition projects devoted to new talents in Italy and abroad.
Leonardo left an indelible mark on Milan, reinterpreting the singular experience of the great genius and the ‘Cenacolo’ from a modern-day viewpoint, is the model promoted by the international project Leonardo Hub. The Hub speaks the language of creativity and cultural fusion.
Fondazione Stelline is also the seat of a Congress Centre and place of communication, fashion, technology, science and information for regional and national territory. Art and culture, in a winning combination that includes also conference activities, today represent a strategic characteristic of Fondazione Stelline.
