From 16 December to 15 June the Risorgimento Museum - Istituto Mazziniano hosts the exhibition "Il Risorgimento in comics", a dive into the past for an event not to be missed. A fascinating journey through the world of contemporary comics, a fascinating visual tale of the epics events of Italian history and its unforgettable protagonists.

The exhibition focuses on the extraordinary drawings of talented cartoonists, including Dante Erasmo Spada, the Esposito Bros, Tuono Pettinato, Fabrizio De Fabritiis, Alfredo Castelli and Stefano Vietti, Francesco Artibani, Giorgio Cavazzano, Marco Gervasio, Alessandro Sisti, Marco Bosco, Paolo Mottura, Andrea Guglielmino and Corrado Mastantuono. Artists who gave life to the stories you can see oscillating between parody, uchronic tales and historical reconstructions.

The exhibition is integrated with authentic treasures from the Risorgimento Museum, including precious objects, works of art, historical documents and relics belonging to the indomitable characters who shaped the destiny of our nation.

A rich didactic apparatus, performing a dual function, guides you through the technical and stylistic understanding of the works on display, as well as in the historical analysis of the heroic deeds narrated in the comics and objects on display.
