The Museum of the History of Genoa CFC is dedicated to the history of the Genoa Cricket and Football Club, the oldest club in Italy.

Opened on June 5, 2009 in the premises previously occupied by the historic Genoese newspaper Il Lavoro directed by Sandro Pertini at Salita Dinegro number 7. The museum has also received recognition of significant cultural interest for its historical-documentary content from the Ministry for Cultural Heritage and Activities.

In June 2013, the new headquarters, the Genoa Museum and Store, was inaugurated inside the Palazzina del Cinquecento San Giobatta near the Porto Antico.

The new headquarters spread over three levels for a total of over 500 m² with ten exhibition rooms, is the main official point of sale of the Genoa CFC Society and the Ticket Office.

The exhibition path is thematic and chronological: through two centuries of history, it relates sport, culture, and society, thanks to exciting interactive and multimedia installations and hundreds of memorabilia, trophies, documents, and photographs. Over the years, the Museum has conceived, realized, and presented a long series of exhibitions, conferences, events, historical reenactments, films, thematic meetings, books.

Since 2019, the Museum of the History of Genoa CFC is a member of the International Sports Football Museum Association, an organization that brings together the most important Sports Museums worldwide.
