At the Naval Museum of Pegli, in the Renaissance villa of Giovanni Andrea Doria, maritime collections related to Genoa and the Riviera from the 15th to the 19th century are exhibited.

Visitors can admire precious maps, paintings, drawings, ship models, construction and navigation instruments and visit the ancient shipyards and artisan workshops related to the maritime world.

Significant are the testimonies of material culture of Ligurian sailors and shipwrights. The Naval Museum of Pegli is now an integral part of Mu.MA - Museums of the Sea and Migrations Institution of Genoa, which also includes other exhibition venues such as Galata Museo del Mare, Commenda di Prè and Lanterna.
