After “General Warehouses. The Livorno collections from the deposits to the Museum, which between 2021 and 2022 "led to the rediscovery of some important works, known and less known, belonging to the heritage of the Civic Museums of Livorno, a new temporary project brings the spotlight on the deposits, the hidden heart of the museums, where the material precipitate of the historical and visual culture of our territory is preserved.

Following the invisible thread that links the nucleus of works that entered the civic collections with different times and methods, with Abitare il Museo the Municipality of Livorno in collaboration with the Itinera, Agave and Coopculture cooperatives intends to present in the months of May and June , in the spaces of the Museum of the City of Livorno, four thematic installations, combined with a program of guided tours aimed at schools, adults and children and artistic performances, aimed at enhancing and understanding a largely inaccessible heritage.

The Portraits exhibition opens (from 5 to 14 May), with names such as Leonetto Cappiello, Mario Borgiotti and Sandro Martini, combined with the guided tour with readings Talking works.
