Keats' house, at number ten of Keats Grove, is the beautiful villa where the poet, despite a relatively short stay - only seventeen months - found inspiration.
Keats moved there only in 1818 and remained there until his journey to Italy where he later died.
The house, originally built in 1816 by William Woods was formerly inhabited by Charles Wentworth Dilke and his family.
After passing from one owner to another and having escaped demolition in 1920, the villa was taken over by the city of London and today constitutes a valid cultural center and a relevant house museum within the urban landscape.
