From October 31st to November 16th, 2025, M9 - Museum of the 20th Century hosts the XV edition of Matite in Viaggio. Carnets Drawings Words, dedicated to the narrative of travel through drawing and writing. Notebooks, sketches, watercolors, and notes make up personal geographies and unique perspectives.

Promoted by the Cultural Association Matite in Viaggio in collaboration with the Centro Culturale Candiani, the exhibition at M9 takes place concurrently with the traditional exhibition of the Municipality of Venice at Forte Marghera. The journey brings together original carnets and editorial materials, focusing on the slow pace of observation and the narrative power of the stroke.

The Venetian stage also includes collateral events at the Auditorium M9, starting from the award ceremony for the best travel carnets, designed to bring together authors and the public to delve into the methods, themes, and practices of travel diaries.
