On Valentine's Day, the Bagatti Valsecchi Museum celebrates love with the event Col cuore in mano: the screening of the site-specific work by the artist Elena Datrino, a video installation that inextricably combines the works of the Museum's permanent collection with those of the exhibition in progress The seduction of beauty. Secret masterpieces between '600 and '700. To enrich the images, the piece created by the composer Ivano Pecorini which will transform the visit into an immersive and multisensory experience.

Love can take many forms: it can be between two people who have a romantic relationship, of any kind, but also between two friends or between parents and children and between grandparents and grandchildren. The Bagatti Valsecchi Museum on the occasion of Valentine's Day with the Col Cuore in Mano event wants to celebrate all the couples who share this unique feeling.

Tuesday 14 February the Museum will be exceptionally open from 1pm to 8pm with a ticket of €12 for two people (two admissions for the price of one!).

It will be possible to visit the ongoing exhibition The seduction of beauty. Secret masterpieces between the 17th and 18th centuries, in which 50 masterpieces from the Gastaldi Rotelli collection dialogue with the eclectic permanent collection of the House Museum, and at the end of the exhibition itinerary, in Giuseppe Bagatti Valsecchi's studio, visitors will find the work site- specific by the photographer Elena Datrino, Col cuore in mano .

The idea for the project was born during the making of the official photographic service of the exhibition created by Elena Datrino: the artist, attracted by the gestural conversations that the works of the two collections have with each other, in fact caught in the portrayed hands a particular exchange of meanings. With the help of the dancing hands of the actress Ippolita Baldini, an engaging video installation was born that stages shots and video frames that come to life through plays of transparencies and fades, lights and shadows. A visual suggestion made totally immersive and multisensory by the piece created by the composer Ivano Pecorini spread throughout all the rooms of the Museum.
