The show

On the occasion of Milan Art Week, Fondazione Stelline inaugurates Danilo Sciorilli 's solo exhibition Distanze Comoventi , designed for the underground spaces and the quadriportico of the historic Palazzo.

The exhibition, curated by Davide Dall'Ombra and Alessandra Klimciuk , stages Danilo Sciorilli's desire to achieve and be able to represent immortality. The exhibition itinerary accompanies the visitor through six installation works: six small solar systems of thought that draw on all the technical declinations used by the artist (from drawing to video animations, up to sculptural and totemic presentation).

The exhibition at the Stelline Foundation, from 12 April to 14 May 2023 , accompanies the discovery of Danilo Sciorilli's system of thought, which once again makes the cleaned and distilled space of the end of life go through, placing the public before death, but equipping a handbook of systems to generate (or record) its eternity and testing the availability of users to madness. The works on display offer visitors the probably illusory possibility of escaping transience through three solutions of immortality: that of the body, the soul and the image.

Comoving distances borrows the title from cosmology and refers to the way in which distances are considered independent of time, as if the planets were not moving. Faced with finiteness, inexorable for some, unacceptable for all, Sciorilli begins with the highest systems, in the proper sense.
