Saturday 12 November , before dawn, at 6 in the morning the artists and curators present My clowder is ready, we gather at dawn , collective exhibition and outcome of Spazio Libero , the first residency in the history of Casa degli Artists led by Milovan Farronato as mentor. The exhibition, curated by Irene Sofia Comi and Chiara Spagnol , presents site-specific and unpublished works and projects created during the residency period by Andreas Andronikou, Babau, Irene Fenara, Anna Franceschini, Paolo Gonzato with the collaboration of Rachele De Niro, Elda Miniero, Sanjeshka (Sanja Pupovac). Born from an intuition of Farronato, and conceived in close dialogue with the mentor, My clowder is ready, we gather at dawn will be visible until November 30th and aims to explore the imaginary linked to the domestic feline par excellence, the cat, embracing the themes of unpredictability, mysticism, the feral and the twilight.

A constant presence in visual cultures around the world, the iconography of the felis catus brings with it symbolic and archetypal meanings that permeate and cross the history of man, from depictions of Ancient Egypt to the contemporary aesthetics of digital memes. The figure of the cat understood as an other and unconventional subject will therefore be interpreted starting from the most hidden, bewitched and wild aspects of the feline, exploring its contradictory and elusive nature, as well as its resistance to domestication. With suggestions ranging from the Cypriot origin of the domesticated cat to punk culture, from total identification with the feline to the reproduction of the predator's gaze as a metaphor for surveillance in the digital society, the exhibition opens a reflection on the themes of the other and the misunderstood, of the marginal and the enigmatic. Performances, kinetic installations, paintings, sculptures, videos and audio tracks will settle in the spaces of Casa degli Artisti sneaking through the three floors of the building, moving between the Studios, the stairs, the bistro and the Atelier della Musica.
