The exhibition offers 70 tempera on paper, including portraits of protagonists of the art world, self-portraits and family groups. Retired after a life spent as a professor of history and art criticism at the DAMS course at the University of Bologna, Renato Barilli (1935) took up the brushes he had discarded about half a century ago, believing that photography had won. definitely the game and that the brushes were now useless.
