The Rachele Bianchi Archive is pleased to present Zianni - Bianchi. Sculptural Dialogue a path that compares two female voices of Italian sculpture that,
despite the years that separate them, are united by a profound reflection on the female body, the privileges and difficulties of being a woman, motherhood, the
absence as an unbridgeable void.
Through an exhibition layout designed to enhance the comparison between the works, the exhibition path offers a dialogue between the contemporary production of
Federica Zianni (1993) and a selection of historical works by the sculptor Rachele Bianchi (1925–2018), an authoritative figure in Italian sculpture of the twentieth century capable of narrating through bronze, marble, and terracotta the strength and complexity of female identity.
