The Istituto Svizzero in Milan is a cultural center that is dedicated to supporting and promoting Swiss cultural research and creation in Italy.
Through dynamic and innovative projects and a residency program in Italy, the Swiss Institute actively contributes to scientific and artistic exchanges between the two countries. The programming of the Milan exhibition space includes exhibitions, conferences, concerts, and meetings.
Located near Piazza Cavour, the Swiss Institute is housed in a historic building dating back to the 1950s. It is part of the Swiss Center complex, which also includes the Consulate General of Switzerland, the Swiss Chamber of Commerce in Italy, and various associations: a true Swiss enclave in the center of Milan.
In addition to the headquarters in Milan, the Swiss Institute also has exhibition spaces in Rome and Naples.
