Since 1935 l’ Archive Historical Civic and Library Trivulziana , institution founded as a result of’ annexation of Trivulzio collection to the existing Historical Archives Civic Milan , protection, enhances, promotes and increases its documentary heritage, and the library collections. L’ Institute currently has more than 1300 manuscripts, 1300 incunabula, 16,000 sixteenth, more than 180,000 printed editions. The documentary heritage has instead reached about 1280 meters of linear development. They are also made available to scholars bibliographies, manuals philology, linguistics, paleography, history of Milan and the history of printing, constantly updated, in order to provide aid to research material and study of the collections. The more codeù oldest dating back to the eighth century, while the più famousè the booklet notes Leonardo da Vinci ; notable are the Dante manuscripts, including a  code; Comedy 1337 and a precious fourteenth-century manuscript of the De vulgari eloquentia; among the incunabula figure finally gathering full of the fifteenth edition of the Comedy Dante.
