The Costantino Nivola Foundation - Orani / Nivola Museum is pleased to present the exhibition On the Edge of the Eyelid, an installative-photographic project that explores the boundaries between artistic research and scientific investigation, with particular reference to the study of Dark Matter and Energy.

The exhibition, supported by Strategia Fotografia 2024, promoted by the General Directorate of Contemporary Creativity of the Ministry of Culture, brings together three unpublished projects created by Fabio Barile (Barletta, 1980), Ezio D’Agostino (Vibo Valentia, 1979), and Luca Spano (Cagliari, 1982).

The artists participated in a research residency program that put them in dialogue with scientists and researchers from excellent institutions, including the Gran Sasso Science Institute (L’Aquila), the Department of Physics of the University of Cagliari, the INFN - National Institute of Nuclear Physics, the Ideas Association of Cagliari, as well as the sites of Sos Enattos (Lula), identified for the future construction of the Einstein Telescope, and the Sardinia Radio Telescope (San Basilio, CA).
