In the framework of planning and international relations, Salinas signed an agreement in 2021 with the Acropolis Museum of Athens, the city to which the beautiful fragment of the sixth slab of the eastern frieze of the Parthenon, relating to the foot of the goddess, has returned forever Artemis, held since the first decades of the nineteenth century in the Salinas collections and known as the "Fagan fragment".

In exchange, a beautiful statue of Athena from the mid-5th century BC arrived from the Athenian Museum in February 2022, which will be replaced, in 2025, by an Attic amphora in the Middle Geometric style dating back to the first half of the 8th century BC, a period preceding the establishment of the first Greek colonies in eastern Sicily.
