The Department of Culture of the Municipality of Pavia in collaboration with the Frate Sole Foundation will present from 18 July to 4 October in the exhibition hall for contemporary arts at the Broletto the exhibition " From matter to form ", with works by Costantino Ruggeri from the 1960s . and Seventy , presented for the first time in an organic way.

The seventy works present interesting connections with the successful poor current founded by the recently deceased critic Germano Celant.

"Matter becomes form" marks in 1967 the birth of the poor art movement held in baptism by the same art critic who characterizes it with these words: "... in reducing to a minimum, in impoverishing the signs, to reduce them to their archetypes ".
