The MAR, in the space of the Arts & New Media Room, hosts an installation by the Polish artist and mosaicist Matylda Tracewska curated by Eleonora Savorelli. The exhibition returns to the public the artist's residency at the Muséum national d’histoire naturelle in Paris, which provided the stone materials used in the works, and is organized in collaboration with the Parisian association MuPa. As part of the installation, the association Magma presents the participatory workshop and performance by Enrico Malatesta, Meditation without object, curated by Alex Montanaro, dedicated to exploring the sound potentials of materials.

Also in the Arts & New Media Room, starting from December, the third event of Spazio Neutro returns, curated by the MAR conservator, Giorgia Salerno. The exhibition, which offers the public an alternative perspective in the viewing and understanding of contemporary art, hosts a site-specific project by Jonathan VanDyke In the eternity of the temporary. An American artist and performer who, starting from the study of the Ravenna mosaics of San Vitale, Galla Placidia, and Sant’Apollinare, creates a modular environment where the tiles transform into painted fabric weaves and the decorative element is offered to the visitor as a tool for contemplation.
