closed ALL ABOUT BANKSY

The show

Thanks to around two hundred and fifty works from private collections, Chiostro del Bramante presents ALL ABOUT BANKSY: in Rome, from 5 May 2021 to 9 January 2022, a new exhibition to discover everything you can know about the most famous unknown artist in the world.

Banksy can't stop talking about himself. From the last work on the walls of the prison in Reading (UK), where Oscar Wilde was detained, to denounce the state of neglect since 2013, up to the millionaire auction in favor of the British health system, with the award of the Game Changer work for £ 16.75 million.

So Chiostro del Bramante cannot stop dealing with Banksy and offering, with this new exhibition, an encyclopedic study of his work, thanks to an important documentary section consisting of photographs, reports and videos, a new exhibition opportunity in the Renaissance spaces in the downtown Rome.

An in-depth narration of the artist's poetics thanks to the contribution of Butterfly & David Chaumet - Butterfly Art News, who for the first time have opened their archive, in such a complete way, for an exhibition.
