From May 14 to August 13, 2025, From the Heart to the Hands: Dolce&Gabbana arrives at Palazzo Esposizioni Roma. It is here that, after Milan and Paris, the exhibition - welcomed with an unprecedented turnout, with extended hours to meet an increasingly high demand - opens a new and anticipated chapter in the spaces designed by Pio Piacentini and inaugurated in 1883, a symbolic place of contemporary visual culture and shared heritage, the largest exhibition and cultural space in the center of the capital.
A return to Italy that is charged with new meanings: not just a simple rearrangement, but a narrative rethought for the context, where the creations of Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana enter into dialogue with the neoclassical architectural structure, a unique scenography for a journey not only in fashion, but in time, art, memory, and material.
The exhibition, promoted by the Department of Culture of Rome Capital and Azienda Speciale Palaexpo, with the patronage of Rome Capital, produced and organized by Azienda Speciale Palaexpo with IMG and curated by Florence Müller with scenography by Agence Galuchat, gathers over two hundred unique creations by Dolce&Gabbana, a symbol of Italian Haute Couture style.
A showcase of the unparalleled mastery and craftsmanship expressed by the brand, From the Heart to the Hands: Dolce&Gabbana is an open love letter to Italian culture, always an inspiration and muse for the creations of Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, whose extraordinary creative process is retraced - from the heart, where ideas originate, to the hands, through which they take shape. The exhibition also includes the work of selected visual artists in dialogue with the creativity of Dolce&Gabbana.
The exhibition path unfolds in a succession of large immersive rooms on an area of about 1,500 square meters, exploring the creative and unconventional thinking of the brand in the world of luxury - elegant, sensual, and unique, but also ironic, irreverent, and revolutionary. The creations are told through a series of themes that highlight the multiple Italian cultural influences at the roots of Dolce&Gabbana: from art to architecture, from excellent craftsmanship to folklore, from music to Opera, Ballet, theater, and of course, the suggestions of the "dolce vita".
