From 19 December to 28 February 2026
On Thursday, December 18, 2025, starting at 5:30 pm, the inauguration of the exhibition "Fausto Pirandello. The magic of everyday life" will take place at the Accademia Nazionale di San Luca, dedicated to one of the protagonists of Italian art of the twentieth century, on the fiftieth anniversary of his death.
The exhibition was organized in collaboration with the Archaeological and Landscape Park of the Valley of the Temples of Agrigento, in partnership with the Fausto Pirandello Association.
Curated by Fabio Benzi and Flavia Matitti, the exhibition brings together about thirty paintings, selected from the artist's major masterpieces, and a core of works on paper, focusing on pastels, Pirandello's favorite technique in the post-war period.
The exhibition will take place in two locations: at the Accademia Nazionale di San Luca in Rome (open to the public from December 19, 2025, to February 28, 2026) and at Villa Aurea, Archaeological and Landscape Park of the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento (from March 20 to June 2, 2026).
