"Flowers. Wonderful Nature": from March 18 to September 6, 2026 at the Chiostro del Bramante
Following the public success of "Flowers. From the Renaissance to Artificial Intelligence," DART - Chiostro del Bramante presents a new chapter of the same exhibition project
Following the public success of Flowers. From the Renaissance to Artificial Intelligence, DART - Chiostro del Bramante, in agreement with the Kunsthalle in Munich and Suzanne Landau, but independently, presents Flowers. Wonderful Nature, a new chapter of the same exhibition project, scheduled from Wednesday, March 18 to Sunday, September 6, 2026.
In continuity with Flowers. From the Renaissance to Artificial Intelligence, the exhibition evolves and broadens its perspective: if in the first chapter the flower was at the center of reflection as a symbolic, political, and poetic element, Flowers. Wonderful Nature now dedicates itself to the theme of nature in its entirety, understood as an organic and ever-changing universe where plant and animal forms, marine elements, and multiple species coexist and interact in a dynamic balance.
The exhibition includes a restructuring and expansion of scientific content, enriched by the integration of new and significant loans from prestigious Italian collections, including the Casanatense Library, the Medici Villa in Poggio a Caiano, the Still Life Museum, the Tosio Martinengo Art Gallery in Brescia, and the Civic Zoology Museum in Rome. A collaboration that enhances the role of public, civic, and state collections, guardians of a heritage of extraordinary historical, artistic, and scientific relevance.
Three macro-sections to interpret the present through nature
The exhibition path is divided into three macro-sections — Art and Ecology, Art and Science, Art and Politics — offering an itinerary where ancient and contemporary works confront each other in a continuous interplay of references, connections, and suggestions. The exhibition brings together national and international artists and presents works ranging from the seventeenth century to the present day, including works created with the latest technologies and artificial intelligence, as evidence of a constant dialogue between tradition and innovation.
