From 23 December 2022 to 4 June 2023 the halls of Palazzo del Duca di Senigallia will host the Sounds of silence exhibition by South Korean photographer Sue Park , multiple winner of the Photo Awards and director of the Shatto Gallery in Los Angeles. In the exhibition it will be possible to admire 100 photographs taken from two of his collections Sue Park Photography and Monovision, mainly dedicated to the representation of the beauty of nature. Enchanting places and glimpses of cultured life in Asia, Europe and the Americas that whisper softly, evoking a sense of wonder and mysticism for their magnificence. The exhibition organized by the Municipality of Senigallia and curated by Lorenzo Uccellini, was created with the patronage of the Dott. Leopoldo Uccellini Foundation and the support of the Marche Region as part of the Senigallia City of Photography project.

The exhibition is a veritable horizontal tour of the world, from east to west, carried out by Sue Park, in which she recounts with an almost childish immediacy and with no claim to re-interpretation, the beauty she has experienced and photographed. Hers is a purely naturalistic photography, in which post-production is reduced to a minimum, however in the images she also tells us about herself and her own experiences which, as happens when retracing a family album, awaken sensations and memories: the cold of the lands of Hokkaido, the magic of the light breeze of the Tuscan valleys, the distant litany of Malaysian fishermen, the scent of incense, the taste of salt that fills the coast hit by the storm and the nostalgia of a point of black in an expanse of white. Sue Park's shots are highly vital and communicate the "simplicity" and spontaneity of nature by involving the viewer, as if, together with the author, he or she had been a participant for 1/250 of a second in the shot of that spectacle we are all intimately and unconsciously an essential part.
