Palacio de las Dueñas is a palace located in Seville, Spain, and currently belongs to the Casa de Alba. Its construction dates back to the end of the 15th century and is presented in the Renaissance style with Gothic and Moorish influences.
Palacio de las Dueñas is one of the most important historic houses in the city and retains a great architectural and artistic heritage. It became a national monument, today a Site of Cultural Interest, on June 3, 1931. The palace consists of a series of courtyards, buildings and beautiful gardens.
Inside there is also an interesting decorative art collection that counts more than a thousand objects: Italian and Spanish paintings of the (16th and 17th centuries) by Jacopo Bassano, Sofonisba Anguissola, Annibale Carracci, Francesco Furini, Luca Giordano, Giovanni Paolo Pannini, José de Ribera, Francisco Antolínez, Joaquín Inza and Neri di Bicci. This is only part of the collection, most of the paintings are in the Liria Palace in Madrid. The Palacio de las Dueñas also has a significant collection of antiques, pottery, and other artifacts.
In addition to the paintings there are sculptures, even from Roman times, tapestries and mosaics.
