The month of June will see the launch in Stra of the sculpture exhibition “ Mirabilia Naturae. Beyond the dark ”, with the exhibition of iron works by Toni Benetton , marble sculptures by Achille Costi and bronze works by Andrea Roggi. The exhibition, curated by its creator, Rina Dal Canton, is closely linked to Andrea Roggi's personal exhibition "L'oro di Venissa" , inaugurated on 15 May last, in the marvelous Venissa estate on the Venetian island of Mazzorbo.

The exhibitions, particularly attentive to the inclusion of people with visual disabilities, were born from the collaboration between the creator and curator, the Municipality of Stra, the National Museum of Villa Pisani and the Regional Directorate of Veneto Museums, the Venissa in Mazzorbo and the Paolo Rizzi Association; see the collaboration and patronage of the Veneto Region, in particular of the Tourism Directorate, of the Metropolitan City of Venice, of the Lega del Filo d'Oro ONLUS, of the Lucia Guderzo Foundation, of Senti chi parla ODV - Center for recording spoken books and of the Unione Italiana Chiechi-Venice office and some local companies sponsoring the event.

The VII edition of “L'Oro di Venissa” saw the start with greetings from the president of the Paolo Rizzi Association, Piergiorgio Baroldi, from the curator of the exhibition, Rina Dal Canton, from the mayor of Stra, Caterina Cacciavillani, from the owner of the Venissa estate, Gianluca Bisol, of the president of the City Council of Venice, Ermelinda Damiano. It also saw the introduction of the Trieste art critic, prof. Enzo Santese, and the presentation of the works by the author, Andrea Roggi.

The Stra exhibition opens on 18 June in both the Villa Loredan and Villa Pisani locations and will be open until 23 October 2022.
