From March 15th to June 1st 2024 the Ersilia exhibition. Praticare l'altrove , curated by Alice Labor and Ginevra Ludovici , presents a project that is the materialization of the podcast produced by MACTE Digital - the museum's online portal - inspired by Ersilia, the imaginary city told by Calvino in Invisible Cities.

Through the interventions of artists who imagined the places, the inhabitants and the conditions of Ersilia between multiple disciplines and languages. The exhibition puts both artistic practices and the public's experiences into circulation, pushing each participant to become an active part of this meeting between reality and fiction, with the aim of building a collective story of shared imaginaries. At the same time, a selection of works from the permanent collection will be presented in the museum rooms; in particular posters and publications of sixty years of history of the Termoli Prize and a focus on the work of Malangatana Valente Ngwenya (1936-2011), a Mozambican artist who created an impressive pictorial work in 1996 for the Galleria Civica of Termoli.
