Colorful, fascinating, and exotic, but not always loved by everyone: African invertebrates await you in the mountain tropical forest of the museum. The undergrowth of African rainforests hosts a small world rich in life among beetles, snails, bugs, crustaceans, mollusks, and millipedes.
Strolling through the vegetation of the forest, you can discover their strategies of attack and defense, mimicry and camouflage, and the complex relationships between predators and prey.Ten terrariums recreate micro-forest habitats where species are hosted in similar-natural conditions, fully respecting their ecological needs. The five entomological cases, instead, will allow you to admire preserved specimens up close.
Immerse yourself in the microcosm of African invertebrates, where every detail tells a story of adaptation and survival in an environment as lush as it is full of pitfalls.
