From 25 February to 27 March 2022 OGR Torino presents two new exhibitions for an unprecedented relationship with time: HERE by Maria Hassabi , curated by Samuele Piazza with Nicola Ricciardi at Binario 1, and HARDSCAPES by Nina Canell, curated by Samuele Piazza with Lorenzo Giusti at Platform 2.

The live installation HERE invites visitors to share their time and presence with six dancers. During the month in which the exhibition takes place, six performers will perform a choreography at a slower pace within a sculptural environment that transforms the space of Track 1. The movements of the performers are accompanied by a sound composition: a female voice scans the seconds that pass, from 1 to 14399 '', underlining the eternal passage of time. Immersed in this constant continuum, the movements of the dancers create a situation of changing presence, which demonstrates the slippery nature of the here and now.

Since the early 2000s, Maria Hassabi develops a unique choreographic practice, focused on stillness and space between movements. The artist works on conventions, hierarchies and codes common to the theater, museums and public spaces, reworked in his works to adhere to specific contexts and dialogue with the uniqueness of the architecture of the places with which he relates. At the heart of the choreography, immobility and deceleration are used both as techniques and as subjects of representation, while the performing bodies oscillate between dance and sculpture, subject and object, living body and static image.

Free admission from Thursday to Sunday from 12:00 to 20:00
