CAMERA - Centro Italiano per la Fotografia inaugurates the autumn season of 2023 with two major exhibitions at its headquarters in Turin, presenting itself to the public in a new guise, the result of the important architectural renovation project currently underway in these months, combined with the creation of an innovative, and unique in Italy, visual-tactile path dedicated to the history of photography.

An evolution that fully fits into the development of CAMERA as a reference point for the dissemination of photographic culture in Italy through exhibitions, meetings, educational activities, courses, to increase knowledge, stimulate discussion, raise questions, and deepen the narrative of reality through images.

In line with its mission of spreading photographic culture, CAMERA expands and proposes, concurrently with the exhibitions at the Turin headquarters, three other major exhibitions in three other Italian cities.

In the Project Room, the collective exhibition New Generation. Contemporary perspectives on the Alinari Archives finds space, where four young artists confront the Alinari Archives as fundamental repositories of stories to reinterpret and repropose.
