From 23 April to 6 May 2022
On the occasion of the 2022 Liberation Day , the Polo del '900 hosts the exhibition Odio gli indifferenti / I can't breathe , an augmented reality installation by Saveria Project.
The room of the partisan Remo , deported to the concentration camp of Bolzano in 1945, is in a retirement home in the lower Bologna area. Inside, objects, photographs, books and a television tell about his daily life. Many of those objects are also something more. By framing them with a tablet, the person who enters the room will see other images appear in augmented reality, he will listen to the voices of women and men who, like Remo, grew up under fascism and fought for freedom.
This room also collects the testimonies of those who lived the G8 in Genoa and of those who are now twenty years old and were born in Italy to immigrant parents.
The same desire for freedom and equality animates the stories, faces and words of people who belong to different generations. Everyone rebelled against the idea of being indifferent.
Odio gli indifferenti / I can't breathe will be open from Saturday 23 April to Friday 6 May , from 2.00 pm to 7.30 pm. For the day of Monday 25 April only, from 10.00 to 19.30.
Entrance with compulsory reservation. Cost of the ticket: 5 euros
Free admission on 25 April only.
Entry into the room is allowed to one spectator at a time. The stay is about 30 min.
Exhibition curated by: Widespread Museum of Resistance, Deportation, War, Rights and Freedom and Polo del '900 Foundation - in collaboration with TPE - Teatro Piemonte Europa. The initiative is supported by the Piedmont Region Committee for the affirmation of the values of the Resistance and the principles of the Republican Constitution.
