Everything Passes Except the Past [Everything Passes Except the Past] is an online exhibition and festival organized by the Goethe-Institut in collaboration with the Sandretto Re Rebaudengo Foundation of Turin.
The growing public awareness of racist violence and historical injustice has repositioned monuments, ethnographic collections and film archives of colonial origin at the center of political and social debate. As part of the project Everything passes except the past an artistic and discursive approach to the residues of colonialism is proposed with the aim of redefining the structures of power and imagining alternative scenarios.
