On Friday 15th September from 6pm to 8pm and on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th September from 3pm to 5pm, the exhibition will host Us Swerve, a performance by Alex Baczyński-Jenkins, in the spaces of Binario 1.

In Us Swerve (2014) by Alex Baczyński-Jenkins, some performers on skates orbit around each other while reciting, remixing and reformulating fragments of poetry dedicated to the theme of desire. Thus comes to life a polyphonic choreographic score constantly altered by the movements, attitudes and affections of the performers who, as they circulate, interpret a queer archive of verses and inflections with citations from authors such as Essex Hemphill, Eileen Myles and Langston Hughes. These articulations of desire and the sensuality of repetition set the rollerblades in motion and compose an ideal soundtrack through which they move.
