The Ulassai Art Station, in the heart of Ogliastra, Sardinia, is a contemporary art museum dedicated to Maria Lai (1919 - 2013). Established in 2006 by the artist, through a donation of over one hundred and forty works to the Municipality of Ulassai, the museum, managed by the Stazione dell'Arte Foundation, of which Maria Lai was honorary president for life, houses the most important and complete public collection of the her work and organizes an exhibition program linked to some central themes for her, such as the relationship between art, community and landscape.
