Le Stanze della Fotografia are the new home of photography in Venice: the exhibition and research center is the continuation of the path started at Casa dei Tre Oci. The joint initiative of Marsilio Arte and Fondazione Giorgio Cini brings photography to the Sale del Convitto on the Island of San Giorgio Maggiore, within the Fondazione Giorgio Cini, consolidating the natural bond between photography and the Island, which houses an immense documentary heritage, with one of the most important photographic collections in Europe.

Under the artistic direction of Denis Curti, the Rooms will be an international center for research and enhancement of photography and image culture, with exhibitions and reviews in Venice and other Italian cities, workshops, meetings, workshops, in the belief that photography should continue to have its own specific home in Venice.
