From 13 June to 6 January 2026
On Friday, June 13, at 6:30 PM, at the National Archaeological Museum of Verona, on the occasion of the European Archaeology Days 2025, the inauguration of the exhibition Guet Ndar. The sea, our life. The shots by Abdoulaye Touré, a young Senegalese author, depict the daily life and strength of a community that lives in symbiosis with water, between ancient traditions and contemporary challenges. The images narrate a "slow life," marked by codified and transmitted gestures in which we can also perceive the echo of the very ancient past exhibited in the National Archaeological Museum of Verona.
The curation and design involve the National Archaeological Museum and the association Contemporary Contemporaries Project.
The visit to the exhibition will be included in the regular museum ticket, on the usual days and opening hours. The exhibition will be open for visits until Monday, January 6, 2026.
