The Otto Wagner Hofpavillon Hietzing is a historic building in Vienna, designed by Otto Wagner, which served as a private station for Emperor Franz Joseph and his court, connected to the Stadtbahn line (surface metro). It is located near Schönbrunn Palace, the imperial summer residence. The pavilion, completed in 1898, is a remarkable example of Jugendstil (Viennese Art Nouveau), with luxurious and detailed interiors, such as silk tapestries, mahogany paneling, and decorated fireplaces. It was intended for the exclusive use of the emperor and his court to access the Stadtbahn.
