The Pratermuseum is a museum in Vienna dedicated to the history and culture of the Prater, one of the oldest and most famous amusement parks in the world. Located near the Giant Ferris Wheel, the museum offers a journey through the history of the Prater, from its origins as an imperial hunting ground to its transformation into an amusement park.
The museum houses a permanent exhibition showcasing artifacts from the Prater's past, such as figures from the Ringelspiel and Punch and Judy, parts of the cave railway, early slot machines, designs, models, photos, tickets, and posters.
