The Colle del Duomo Museum continues its dedication to contemporary art with the extraordinary photographic exhibition by Mauro Mellini. The artist, fascinated by space and its many facets, has transformed photography into his favorite art form. This exhibition represents a unique opportunity to explore his individual investigation into nature and reality, expressed through greyscale images that evoke inner landscapes of great beauty.
The artist has chosen this title to capture his sensory research of time in an individual vision, both static and changing, of the natural landscape. The curator of the exhibition, Eliana Masulli, explains that Mellini's works constitute a trilogy designed to involve the viewer in a journey that combines the perception of time and an enchanting space that lies between reality and the dreamlike. The photographs, rigorously in grayscale, represent interior landscapes that are the result of slow observation and a deep connection with nature.
The opening vernissage will take place on Sunday 11 June at 5.00 pm and access will be open to all interested parties.
