Carlo Scarpa was an Italian architect and designer, one of the most important of the twentieth century. He exercised his talent as creative director of the Venini glassworks and as curator of the setting up of exhibitions and museum arrangements. The space of his creations is one and indivisible, halfway between the work of architecture and the work of art.
