Mimmo Jodice

Mimmo Jodice is an Italian photographer.

Born in the Sanità district , he approached photography in the 1950s. In the 1960s the first exhibitions with Lucio Amelio and collaborations with, among others, Andy Warhol , Sol LeWitt , Joseph Beuys , Michelangelo Pistoletto , Jannis Kounellis , Alberto Burri . From 1970 to 1994 he taught photography at the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples . In 1970 his first national exhibition Nudes inside hermetic folders at the Diaframma gallery in Milan, with a presentation by Cesare Zavattini . In the following years, personal exhibitions followed in museums around the world.
