The Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam is an international modern and contemporary art museum.
It is located near the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum.
The collection of the Stedelijk Museum includes a large collection of paintings by Kazimir Severinovič Malevič and the only work by Armando Reverón in a European museum.
Among the works and artists are remembered
Marc Chagall with The violinist, Self-portrait with seven fingers and the pregnant woman, 1913;
Pablo Picasso with Naked Woman in Front of the Garden in 1956 and Roy Lichtenstein with As I Opened Fire in 1964.
