Metope depicting the sacred marriage between Zeus and Hera, the supreme deities of Olympus. They are part of the architectural decoration of the Temple dedicated to Hera in Selinunte (Trapani), dated to 460-450 BC.

The relief is made of limestone with marble inserts for the nude parts.
